Para este proyecto optamos por decisiones sencillas que ayudaran a mejorar la compresión espacial de la vivienda. Aprovechando la tipología típica del ensanche de la ciudad de Valencia nos inclinamos por organizar la distribución en torno al patio de luces del edificio, beneficiándonos de que la vivienda tiene fachada a dos calles.
Por ello hemos dispuesto los espacios más importantes de la vivienda en cada uno de los extremos de la misma, maximizando su superficie y tratando de que cada uno de ellos pueda englobar diferentes usos.
Por otra parte, para este proyecto hemos tenido la oportunidad de experimentar con unos acabados más rústicos, buscando que la vivienda obtenga un carácter e identidad propios, que sumados a un destacado juego de geometría le confieren al diseño una personalidad que puede evocar por momentos a la antigua arquitectura mediterránea.
La combinación de unos acabados amables con la calidez característica de la madera, nos permite generar una atmósfera muy cálida donde en todo momento se transmite la sensación de hogar.
For this project we opt for simple decisions that help us to improve the spatial understanding of the home. Taking advantage of the typical typology of this kind of neighbouhood of the city of Valencia, we decided to organize the distribution in the light yard of the building, benefiting from the fact that the house has facade in two different streets.
Therefore, we have placed the most important spaces of the home in each of the extremes, maximizing its surface and trying that each of them can encompass different uses.
On the other hand, for this project we have had the opportunity to experiment with more rustic finishes, trying the house to obtain its own character and identity, which together with an outstanding set of geometries give the design a personality that at times can evoke the old mediterranean architecture.
The combination of pleasant finishes with the characteristic warmth of wood, allows us to generate a very warm atmosphere where is transmitted the feeling of home.
